Current• Schedule and/or attend various meetings to facilitate communication of key information regarding patient scheduling or other activities related to the accomplishment of the Division's clinical activities • Obtain referrals and authorizations as necessary for all clinic patient encounters, procedures and surgeries. • Coordinate clinical workload for physicians and nurses to include answering patient phone calls and directing them appropriately• Route incoming e-faxes and faxes… Show more • Schedule and/or attend various meetings to facilitate communication of key information regarding patient scheduling or other activities related to the accomplishment of the Division's clinical activities • Obtain referrals and authorizations as necessary for all clinic patient encounters, procedures and surgeries. • Coordinate clinical workload for physicians and nurses to include answering patient phone calls and directing them appropriately• Route incoming e-faxes and faxes • Procuring new patient medical records in a timely manner• Route correspondence to referring physicians and other appropriate care providers • Share in answering incoming telephone calls from patients and referring physicians • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all members of the Rocky Mountain OB/GYN team• Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians for all non-clinical issues • Complete accurate patient data entry to include insurance information which must be verified• Assist with special projects as assigned• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required • Pulls patient charts and ensures that they are ready in time for the scheduled appointment• Obtains and organizes patient materials for physician' review prior to the patient's appointment• Scans patient records• Commuted to Comprehensive Women’s Health from April 2022 – May 2022 to perform PSR duties and train while they were short-staffed• Ordered devices such as IUDs, Nexplanon, Myosures, etc.• Documented and delegated incoming patient referrals Show less
