I monitored academic progress of student-athletes through weekly one-on-one meetings. I prepared and communicated progress reports for academic staff and coaches on a weekly basis. I utilized computer programs such as Banner, GradesFirst and Blackboard. I demonstrated thorough oral and written communication with a diverse student-athlete population, athletic staff and university partners. I took part in tutor trainings, as well as helped schedule tutors when needed. I assisted with textbook coordination. I utilized time management skills while balancing a wide variety of tasks, as well as a specific student caseload in an efficient manner.

I served as a Graduate Assistant for The University of Akron's Athletic Department in Student-Athlete Academic Services. On average, I met with 8-10 student-athletes per day, ensuring the student-athletes were academically eligible, as well as on track towards completing their desired degree. It was my responsibility to review and record academic grades with student-athletes, create personalized academic plans, prepare and communicate weekly reports with my supervisors and coaches.
