Project Geologist
Exploration Geologist
PVW Resources is a West Australian exploration company exploring Tier 1 mining jurisdictions for REE and gold in Tanami, Kalgoorlie and Leonora. My primary focus was working to discover the next major Hydrothermal Unconformity-Related Heavy Rare Earth system in the Western Tanami region. This is a completely new mineralization style which apart from Browns Range is not seen anywhere else in the world. This new geological setting for producing REE mineralization has the potential to open up a lot of Australia to be looked at with new eyes.(Project generation, target acquisition, managing contractors, internal/external reports, 3D- modelling, interpretation, drill-hole planning and QAQC)

Exploration Geologist
In 2018 I worked for Arrow Minerals (AMD) on their Strickland Gold Project which covers over 100 strike kilometres of greenstone belts and straddles the Evanston and Yuinmery Shear Zones. Strickland Gold Project is located 100km west of Menzies and 180km north of Southern Cross in the Eastern Goldfields. I was involved in the drilling of 45 000m of aircore over the anomalous areas with considerable intercepts completely isolated from historic drilling.Other tasks included:-Rock chipping, fine fraction soils, spinifex and vegetation sampling with CSIRO-Rehabilitation of used drill lines- Working with 10+ geology graduates and vac students over the course of the year, giving them experience in soils, sampling and drilling. The project was located in one of the most remote regions of Australia being 3 hours drive on dirt roads to the nearest town. There was no phone reception and all food, water, fuel and camp equipment I was responsible in organising for each trip. The job was extremely challenging due to the harsh environment requiring me to think independently and problem solve, while also requiring me to work closely in a team environment.

Lifeguard, Ski Boat Driver And General Counsellor
Was a general counsellor, ski boat driver and lifeguard working at Brant Lake Camp over the summer period of 2016. This involved supervising, coaching, and generally being an "older brother" and someone to look up to over the 10 week period. The role was challenging as it required you to be be in contact with kids aged seven-to-thirteen 24/7.
Teaching English
Volunteered at a school called Honour Village in Siem Reap to assist in developing the english skills of the children. The level of education in Cambodia is considerably low, leading to a high level of poverty and unemployment throughout the country. Many of the children I worked with were incredibly poor and many were orphans or had drug or alcohol related family issues. The school was very well run with a daily and weekly itinerary which I could then build on and after the first couple of weeks was able to run my own classes.
Boarding House Master
Worked at Scotch College boarding house supervising and taking care of 50 children. Involved taking them on excursions to other schools, helping them with homework, getting them up and to bed each day as well as taking their daily medications. Also required ensuring everyone was accounted for 24/7 and that no one left the boarding house without proper supervision.
Exploration Geologist
In July 2015 I completed an exploration expedition to Lake Christopher in remote WA in search of the infamous Lassiter’s Reef. We believed we knew the location of this legendary reef having studied aerial geological surveys, Telfer age outcropping and promising crustal structures/contacts while combining it with Lassiter’s notebook accounts. It was a ten-day expedition that involved taking stream bed samples over a 900 square kilometre tenement. The project took six years in the making and had a very limited budged to organise field equipment, vehicles, locating prospective sites, sampling techniques and organising native title agreements.
Clough Engineering Internship
My one year internship at Clough Engineering under the unique role of “Innovation adviser” involved streamlining some of Clough’s business practices by improving efficiency and aiding in cost reduction. This included producing electronic guest sign in systems, moving the company to BlueJeans, a conferencing software and updating their video conferencing systems/rooms.
