Actively protect the legal rights of all easements and fee simple properties pertaining to Georgia Power Company’s high voltage electrical transmission lines. Manage and create the protocols and documentation for large scale, multi-site rights-of-way impact and encroachment projects. Guard the safety of Georgia Power personnel and landowners of rights-of-way by actively finding remedies for hazards, encroachments, access, and environmental concerns in rights-of-way. Educate landowners and the general public to the privileges and limitations associated with rights-of-way. Utilize software and web applications to efficiently govern and clarify the responsibilities and restrictions of Georgia Power and its landowners. Coordinate the flow of information between individuals and departments within the company to defend against loss of access and usage due to encroachments, topography, drainage, and property rights disputes. Decipher and draft legal documents including contracts, deeds, legal descriptions, surveys, site plans, etc. Assist in the revision and honing of ISO standard forms. Negotiate solutions to complex financial, legal, and public exposure situations.

Direct all commercial real estate leasing and property management. Manage landlord/tenant relations, coordinate contractors, and oversee lease negotiations. Nurture the financial, contractual, and emotional concerns of both landlords and tenants. Cultivate and maintain key relationships, strengthening landlord investment, increasing tenant representation, and expanding landlord purchase and investment opportunities. Develop and execute contracts and manage contract compliance. Manage cash flow of properties.

Manage daily administrative operations including accounting and legal affairs. Direct and enforce legal/regulatory compliance.
