Lead - HR Transformation Project Management

Volunteer, Non-paid position. Member of Board of Directors of this non-profit organization and served as its Finanical Vice President. Oversaw all the financial and accounting functions of the synagague and was personally responsible for financial reporting to the board. Managed all the financial relationships with outside vendors including building insurance, payroll, banking, benefits and credit card processing.

-Manage several small to medium, sized projects ranging in value from 10K to 500K-Reported project status and financials, developed requirements and testing plans, cutover and managed final client sign-off-Acted as project manager for several projects, accountable for all phases of project-Supervised team of 3-5 professionals-Managed customer relationships and billing

-Through Genesis10, assigned to Hewitt Associates as Project Manager for Compensation Transformation at PepsiCo. Guided a team of 2-4 individuals in the initiating and requirements gathering phases of the project.-Conducted several requirement-gathering workshops throughout the US. Guided the development and approval of key requirements documents-Developed and tracked against a budget and resource plan-Developed and tracked against a project plan using Microsoft project-Reported progress to stakeholders and other interested parties-Closely managed scope and implemented change requests where agreed to by the sponsor-Total budget was $3.5 Million.

-Key member of Corporation HR planning team providing oversight and guidance for ChevronTexaco’s system spend in Human Resources ($100MM).-Project manager for several enterprise-wide HR projects including Business Case Development for Global SAP-HR Implementation ($4MM), Expatriate Administration Tool (GlobalAdvantage – $4MM), and a global employee database ($100K).-Member of Chevron and Texaco merger integration team responsible for recommending best of breed HR systems to be used in merged company.-Developed employment policy and total compensation framework for offshore payroll employees.-Developed and implemented US salary planning tool in SAP-HR. Redesigned all Chevron compensation processes to allow enablement in SAP-HR.

-Supervised 4 to 10 professionals in developing, implementing and administering a wide range of HR polices and programs in partnership with line management. These included college and internal recruitment, drug and alcohol initiatives, succession planning, employment compliance, benefits and compensation, relocation, performance appraisal, affirmative action plans, sexual harassment prevention, misconduct investigations, payroll and time management, customer satisfaction assessment and scorecard development and implementation.-Special assignment to develop first outsourcing initiative. Redesigned HR processes (benefits administration and employment compliance).-Worked with management on Labor Relations issues. Successfully decertified IBEW representation for last group of union represented employees at Chevron Research Center.
