Supervising a team of ten employees and contractors, located in multiple countries globally, we provide reporting and data integration support to the execution of clinical studies across the world.The team is responsible for designing, developing, validating, deploying and supporting custom-made reporting solutions to allow efficient execution of all study phases, in partnership with the Clinical Study management teams and with all other support functions. Additionally, the team is supporting the deployment of data integration processes in support of study-specific interfaces (e.g. aimed at feeding corporate clinical trial management systems with operational data from clinical studies).Finally, the team is offering complete support from any data-related need to clinical projects outside of clinical studies aimed at offering physicians and hospitals improved tools to leverage their clinical practive data for Medical Care Quality Improvement projects (the One Hospital ClinicalService project).

After having been grown to a level of demand supporting the creation of an EMEA-based SAS Programming team, such team was assigned to a different manager. The rest of the team, composed of employees and contractors located in different countries across Europe, with the addition of new resources, continued to support clinical studies and projects in the International region by designing and developing custom-made applications and reporting solutions.

Within the Italian brand of the world market leader in the medical device industry, I worked in the Italian Clinical Team encharged of setting-up and conducting international clinical trials in Italy in order to support the introduction of new products. I also worked in national teams dedicated to designing and implementing clinical trials on a country basis, following the process from the initial contact with the KOLs to the study result's publication.
