Analysing European developments and opportunities in the electric mobility sector, such as specific European policy and European funding progammes (H2020, Interreg).

Organising an "EU Taskforce" at the province of Gelderland in order to manage running European projects, to share EU information within the organisation and to connect regional ambitions with national and European policy and programmes.

Riga, Latvia

I followed the political developments and current affairs in Latvia and the wider Baltic region and I reported this to the Ministry in The Hague. Regularly I attended seminars and meetings and I developed various public diplomatic projects, specifically related to the Dutch EU Presidency. Moreover, I organised visiting programs for Dutch delegations to Latvia, developed the Embassy social media strategy and I kept the online presence up-to- date.

Within the European Urban Knowledge Network (EUKN) - European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) team, I was responsible for monitoring international and European urban policy practices and conducting background research for EU Presidencies and the EU Urban Agenda. EUKN EGTC is a leading intergovernmental network for urban policy makers, practitioners and researchers throughout Europe delivering high quality knowledge and services which inspire solutions to pressing challenges in cities. It also partners with Platform31, a prime knowledge and networking organisation for urban and regional development in the Netherlands.During my internship, I have participated in a course on "Regions, EU Institutions and Policy-Making" provided by the European Committee of the Regions.
