With Adams Transcription, I have gained experience transcribing cancer research webinars. This includes one-on-one interviews as well as audio including large panels of doctors. This requires accurate compliance with their desired structure and format. This also challenges me to research any medical terms and definitions I am unfamiliar with. With another account, I couple my transcriptions with entering data into the client's EHR system.

During my time at OpenDoor Education, I was a Lead Teacher in a classroom of 10 infants. This huge responsibility demanded my full attention throughout the entirety of each shift I worked. I mastered the art of multi-tasking. Attention to detail was vital in monitoring the health and safety of the babies. Most of their parents were very particular about the way they wanted me to handle their children. I memorized and complied with not only all of the parental requests, but also the countless number of state laws I was required to abide by while caring for them. I learned to expect the unexpected. I was trained to analyze situations and make decisions on the fly. This greatly sharpened my problem-solving skills.In my classroom, I had a poster on the wall that said "Do what is right, not what is easy". Excellence and integrity are a few core values of mine and I truly thrived in an environment where I was operating in those daily.
