My career as a Navy SEAL was cut short after a traumatic brain injury. I was retired right into the COVID-19 lockdown and could not find a job. Divorced. Broke. Purposeless. Compromised Health. Addicted to the VA Pills. I was ready to GIVE UP but GOD intervened in my life. To make ends meet I started repurposing old $1 leather belts from the Salvation Army into dog collars and sold them on social media. I kept reinvesting everything I made back into the business that I was running from an Airbnb. I eventually grew it to what is now known as Macks Belts — a 100% American-made men’s belt company where we build high-quality belts with veteran hands, vintage machines, and American leather and steel.I found a new way to continue serving my country by FIGHTING for Made in AMERICA! I went through some tough times after losing everything I worked so hard to build! But I successfully rebuilt my life! This is where I share my personal experiences, failures, and lessons learned to motivate others who are navigating their own TOTAL LIFE RESET stuck in the PITMy HOPE is to inspire YOU to KEEP HAMMERING and remind you that no matter what…YOU are never out of the FIGHT and ALL things work for GOOD to those who LOVERISE UP

Owner & FounderMacks Belts Feb 2022 - PresentUnited StatesIn a world dominated by mass production and declining quality, I founded Macks Belts to stand as a proud champion of American craftsmanship. My mission combines the rich heritage of American manufacturing with cutting-edge innovation to produce belts built to last for generations. Each belt is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using premium American leather and steel, with a relentless focus on durability and quality that reflects my deep-rooted patriotic commitment to reviving the American belt industry. My journey into leatherworking began as a therapeutic outlet after a traumatic brain injury ended my military career. During the COVID-19 lockdown, unable to find work, I visited a local Salvation Army and began repurposing old belts into dog collars. This simple project sparked an entrepreneurial path, but everything changed when a former teammate requested a belt durable enough for military deployment. Drawing from my special operations experience, I designed a belt capable of withstanding the toughest conditions. The superior quality of my belts quickly gained a loyal following within the special operations community, establishing Macks Belts as a leader in durable, high-quality American-made belts. At the heart of every Mack Belt is my dedication to preserving the legacy of vintage American-made machinery, such as the iconic Brown & Sharpe automatic screw machine—some dating back to the 1940s. These historic machines, combined with premium materials, allow me to craft belts that are a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and enduring quality.Macks Belts is more than just a product—it’s a statement of pride in American workmanship. With an unwavering focus on quality and a patriotic mission, I’m setting a new standard for American-made products. My belts are designed to be the toughest and most reliable on the market, and I look forward to crafting a belt that will stand the test of time for you. -
