Each belt is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using premium American leather and steel, with a relentless focus on durability and quality that reflects my deep-rooted patriotic commitment to reviving the American belt industry.My journey into leatherworking began as a therapeutic outlet after a traumatic brain injury ended my military career. During the COVID-19 lockdown, unable to find work, I visited a local Salvation Army and began repurposing old belts into dog collars. This simple project sparked an entrepreneurial path, but everything changed when a former teammate requested a belt durable enough for military deployment. Drawing from my special operations experience, I designed a belt capable of withstanding the toughest conditions. The superior quality of my belts quickly gained a loyal following within the special operations community, establishing Macks Belts as a leader in durable, high-quality American-made belts.At the heart of every Mack Belt is my dedication to preserving the legacy of vintage American-made machinery, such as the iconic Brown & Sharpe automatic screw machine—some dating back to the 1940s. I served as an enlisted Navy SEAL from 2014 to 2020, playing an integral role in several high-stakes military operations. Throughout my service, I supported Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, and SPARTAN SHIELD, deploying to Africa and Yemen. As part of the Immediate Reaction Force (IRF) for multiple Joint Task Force combat operations, I played a pivotal role in the targeting and removal of enemy combatants. Additionally, I supported multiple Special Operations Command Forward Yemen missions, contributing to strategic efforts aimed at countering regional adversaries and enhancing Yemen's security capabilities.My qualifications include advanced training and expertise as an Assaulter, Lead Breacher, Lead Combat Swimmer, Communications Specialist, Range Safety Officer (RSO), and HRST/Cast Master. These skills were crucial in executing complex operations, and I took pride in demonstrating versatility and leadership within the Special Operations community. In leadership roles, I coordinated the effective use of sensitive equipment and various breaching applications, ensuring mission success and operational readiness.
