GoldenGate software is a real-time, data integration product that works between a variety of heterogeneous database source and targets, including SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, and Oracle, to name a few. After Oracle’s acquisition of GoldenGate Software in October 2009, I worked in Outbound Product Management, responsible for product integration of GoldenGate with Oracle applications such as PeopleSoft, EBS, and JD Edwards. Our team’s involvement also expanded into supporting Pre-Sales customer engagements, Marketing with material data sheets and events such as Oracle OpenWorld, and training material and labs for Oracle University, all in the effort to further promote Oracle GoldenGate.In November 2013, I became part of the Inbound Product Management team and as the Senior Product Manager for Oracle GoldenGate for SQL Server, I bring all of my 10 years of GoldenGate experience forward to guide the future of the product while maintaining technical vigilance over existing features and functionality, documentation, Pre-Sales enablement, and customer satisfaction.

Hired by GoldenGate to provide support for our burgeoning SQL Server product, I quickly migrated into other roles including QA and Business Development.

Working as a member of a team of DBA's, I directly maintained and monitored 25+ databases spread across many instances of SQL Server. Management duties consisted of production DDL and security changes, production outage issue diagnostics and repair, and routine tuning maintenance, as well as backup and recovery strategies.

Performed mixture of duties as SQL Server DBA and System Administrator for in-house software projects and staff. As the SQL Server DBA, managed an active-passive clustered instance of SQL Server 2000 that housed production sales and reporting databases. As System Administrator for the software development staff, performed installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of workstation hardware and software and performed application installations and troubleshooting for in-house sales application for over 100 staff in the sales department.

Provided Windows NT/9x administration to staff of 40+ users and 3-4 Windows NT Servers. Installed, configured, and updated OS and application software such as MS Office suite and Symantec’s WinFax. Administered Microsoft Windows LAN within the office. Setup and configured the offices LAN, DNS, DHCP and WINS configurations, as well network print server administration.
