Hello! My name’s Mack Thompson. I am a disability and queer anthropologist. I have BAs in Anthropology and Gender & Women’s Studies, and am currently pursuing a MA in Applied Anthropology.My academic and activist perspectives centralize queer-crip theory and theories of intersectionality, and typically focus on disabled and queer experiences in Appalachian Kentucky.Founder of Disabled in Kentucky Oral History Project, Disabled and Ill Student Coalition at UKY.
