• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support and strengthen the company’s labor and employment policies and practices.• Provide legal advice and guidance on labor and employment matters to key production executives and HR partners to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations, as well as any applicable collective bargaining agreements.• Manage and respond to claims brought against the company or its productions under applicable laws and collective bargaining agreements.• Participate in and support negotiation of collective bargaining agreements on behalf of NBCUniversal with the Writer’s Guild of America, the Director’s Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and other guilds in the entertainment industry by conducting research, drafting proposals, partnering with senior attorneys to develop strategy, and engaging in dialogues with labor representatives.• Develop, draft, implement, and ensure compliance with company employment policies, initiatives, and training, including developing new trainings on addressing sexual harassment and fostering respect in the workplace, assessing requests for reasonable accommodations, and complying with I-9 requirements.• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, grievances, and arbitrations by drafting briefs and EEOC position statements.• Analyze pay practices and working conditions across the company to assess and enhance employee satisfaction.• Monitor developments in labor and employment laws and regulations to ensure proactive compliance and risk mitigation.

For the LGBTQ, Gender, and Reproductive Justice Project:• Supported the ACLU’s impact litigation, including by performing legal research, writing and editing research memos, drafting court documents, reviewing and indexing discovery materials, conducting client meetings, participating in regular case discussions, collaborating with a large team of attorneys.• Participated in the ACLU’s advocacy work, including by conducting community outreach and education, conducting lobbying visits with legislators and legislative staff, and drafting a Know Your Rights pamphlet.
