My role required an understanding of each brand’s values, adapting my approach to ensure they were authentically represented. A standout experience was representing Nike on behalf of the Norway Women’s Football team during the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Auckland.

As the E-commerce and Social Media Manager at Browns Boutique, I oversee the entire online experience—from updating and launching new products on Shopify to enhancing website design and user experience. I’m responsible for creating and scheduling weekly EDMs and generating engaging content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and now TikTok, to expand our brand reach and connect with our audience

As an in-store retail sales specialist and stylist at Browns Boutique I focused on creating positive experiences for customers. This was through understanding each customers style preferences and needs to help them feel confident and stylish. I enjoy curating outfits, offering styling advice, and providing an elevated in-store experience that keeps customers coming back.

As a freelance Social Media Manager and Marketer, I partner closely with small businesses to strengthen their online presence and drive growth. My work includes end-to-end content creation (from photography to planning), designing logos and visuals, and developing strategies that keep brands fresh and engaging. I understand the critical role that attention to detail plays for small businesses and am dedicated to crafting memorable customer experiences through thoughtful design. I act as a hands-on support, assisting with all aspects of digital design and creation to bring each business's vision to life.

I played a key role in shaping unique brand identities for each cafe, from designing menu boards, menus, uniforms, and packaging to creating memorable in-cafe experiences. I continuously sought new ways to bring the brand to life across our spaces, social media, and digital presence.I have also recently taken on the role of supporting the florist team, to create beautiful posies each week for our customers to enjoy. The cafe posies have always played an important role in the cafes identities - so this has been an enjoyable creative new skill to add to my tool kit and I have throughly enjoyed attending the auction early in the morning!

As a Front of House and Barista team member at Browns Eatery and Store, Brighton Road Cafe, and Kepa Road Cafe, I was dedicated to creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere that felt like a ‘second home’ for our customers. Every day, I ensured excellent service with a friendly smile. When COVID temporarily closed the cafe doors, I took on the challenge of moving the cafes online—developing a digital site that allowed us to deliver food boxes across Auckland, keeping the community connected. This pivot into digital led me to a marketing-focused role with Electric Group and Browns Eatery, where I have since driven our brand’s online presence through both social media and our websites.

As the Design Events Lead for UoA MDC, my primary responsibility was to create exciting events that helped inspire and connect design students with future job opportunities. Being a part of the University of Auckland Design School's very first cohort I was tasked with creating all new ideas for events. Throughout the year I put together the design "Networking and Nibbles" which is now an annual event, where students and design focused companies could mix and mingle, and I also organised a collaboration event with design influencer Pink Pony Creative, which was even featured in Urban List.
