As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Bounce Therapy Services, I provide quality and client-centered services to children and adults with various needs and disabilities. I work with a team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, and other health professionals to deliver holistic and evidence-based interventions. I also use my skills in Microsoft Outlook and Power Diary to communicate and document the progress and outcomes of the clients. I have two years of experience as a Disability Support Worker at Ability Network and Axis Supports, where I supported the daily living, social, and recreational activities of people with diverse abilities and backgrounds. I applied my knowledge and skills in disability care, human rights, and inclusion to empower and enable the clients to achieve their goals and aspirations. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Canberra, with the aim of becoming a registered occupational therapist in the future. I am passionate about learning and applying the principles and practices of occupational therapy to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities. I am also interested in the field of pediatrics and mental health, and how occupational therapy can enhance the development and functioning of children and adults.
