AuthorFreelance Writer; Self Employed 1978 - PresentI was born and raised in Liverpool, UK, and still live nearby with my wife, two daughters and pet cat. Having four published novels already under my belt, I'm currently working on a sequel to The Shifting, writing the second chapter of a new series of detective stories set in 1940s Liverpool and soon planning to publish a novel documenting the early lives of his grandparents, set between the first and second world wars. My inspiration for writing was borne out of wartime stories shared with him by my grandfather and personal hero, Angus Mackenzie Brown, a character featured in this upcoming novel.
