Student Staff Partner
A part of the student staff partnership (SSP) project "Equity, diversity & inclusion in mathematics and physics: amplifying the student voice." A project consisting of 2 staff members (Prof. Matthew Davis and A/Prof. Barbara Maenhaut) and 3 other students, to help bridge the gap between faculty and students and develop tools and systems to foster EDI in the UQ School of Mathematics and Physics (SMP). During this project, the team developed a survey for students to evaulate and provide feedback on various aspects of their university experience within the SMP. These included social and academic experiences, as well as feelings of inclusion and community - students were also asked for suggestions and general feedback that they would like to see implemented within the School.
