CurrentAs a Blackburn and Beyond Paraprofessional, I am dedicated to supporting the academic and personal development of students with diverse learning needs. My role includes:- Individualized Student Support: Assisting students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing learning concepts, and helping them achieve their academic goals.- Behavioral Assistance: Implementing positive behavior strategies and interventions to support students' social and emotional growth.- Classroom Collaboration: Working closely with Instructors and Professors to modify lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.- Communication and Advocacy: Serving as a liaison between students, teachers, and families to ensure that each student's needs are understood and met.- Skill Development: Helping students develop essential life skills, including communication, social interaction, and self-management.- Promoting Inclusivity: Fostering an inclusive college environment where all students feel valued, respected, and capable of achieving success.- Professional Growth: Continuously seeking opportunities for professional development to better support and advocate for students with special needs.This position allows me to apply my passion for education and advocacy, ensuring every student receives the support and resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
