In 2022-2023, I was employed as a Junior Effects Artist at Rising Sun Pictures, and now I'm back in 2024 for more VFX adventures! During this time I have had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects, including Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Star Wars: Ahsoka. I am keen to continue developing my skills and pursue my career as a Junior Effects Artist.I completed a Bachelor of Film and Television at the University of South Australia in 2022, and graduated as the Film and TV Graduate of the Year! For the final year of my degree, I specialised in visual effects, studying under the guidance of industry professionals at Rising Sun Pictures, completing coursework from Graduate Certificates in Effects and Lighting, and Compositing and Tracking. Throughout my degree, I developed skills in filmmaking and camerawork, however my main focus has been visual effects and the post-production side of the industry. Throughout my education and career, I have gained experience in programs including Houdini, Nuke, Maya, and 3DEqualiser, and further improved my skills in Adobe products, such as After Effects, Audition, and Premiere Pro. I also have over four years of experience as a Bakery Assistant at my local supermarket. This knowledge makes me a diligent worker and effective at time management. Within this employment opportunity, I have also expanded my leadership skills by training and instructing younger co-workers.I enjoy working in a team and communicate effectively with others, whether that be in a leadership role, or a small cog in a very large machine. My opportunities in education and employment thus far have helped me develop skills in both collaboration and progress efficiency, and taught me how to overcome challenges in my career. I am always eager to help others, and I am willing to learn new skills and apply them to my work.
