Responsible for leading a project team of more than 30 people for the design & implementation of a new SAP system for multiple business units with the objective of improving efficiency of administrative & operations processes.Led the project through the design, construction, testing, go-live and hypercare phases resulting in the successful completion of the project. Implemented various process improvements to reduce administrative costs through automating processes and adding better reporting and analysis tools to the system.Worked with change management team to develop and implement a transition and training plan for the new system to minimize the impact to people and operations. Penasquito Mine - Goldcorp Mexico

Responsible for leading process improvements and developing policies & procedures for the Finance & Administration departments of the Peñasquito mine with the objective of reducing administrative costs and improving internal controls. Designed and implemented a vendor invoice submissions process which reduced late payments to vendors and reduced accounts payable administration costs. Designed and implemented new processes in the purchasing function which resulted in lowering costs, improved analysis and decision making and strengthening internal controls in the supply chain area.
