-Serving as the External Relations Assistant for the NC Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi by building and maintaining relationships with alumni, the University of North Carolina Panhellenic community, and the national Pi Beta Phi Panhellenic community. -Responsible for all alumni relations including creating the alumni Listserv and continuously updating contacts, writing, editing, and distributing the NC Alpha alumni/parent newsletter, and promoting alumni/student events such as networking nights.-Responsible for all Panhellenic relations including encouraging inter-Panhellenic communication, article submissions to The Panhellenic Pride newsletter and submissions to Pi Beta Phi’s national magazine, The Arrow.

-Public relations/communications intern for a nonprofit organization located in the Chapel Hill/Durham area focused on serving underprivileged youth.- Conducted an internal and external communication audit to best discover client's needs - Created and executed a PR plan to create awareness for client's new phone app,ConnectMe! which connects the local youth to after school non-profit organizations -Promoted ConnectMe! app launch event by creating content for social media, writing and distributing various public relations documents for media kits, and communicating with local and state-wide news sources. -Helped create and design promotional gear designed to raise awareness of the organization and the ConnectMe! app, including apparel and fliers.
