In this role I am responsible for entering prescriptions, filing prescriptions, and using the POS system to cash out prescriptions and merchandise, while providing excellent customer service to patients. I also regularly liaise with various insurance companies to coordinate prescription benefits for patients. I have also achieved gold level pharmacy assistant with Shoppers Drug Mart #1328.

I was also responsible for overseeing the set-up and production of weekly compliance packs for over 120 patients. I was responsible for weekly tasks including; supply maintenance and ordering, maintenance of robots, and contacting doctors to follow up with refits on behalf of patients. In these roles I was responsible for the following; staging a musical for 40 children aged 8-15, teaching children music and acting skills in order to put on a production, overseeing variety of departments including construction, costumes, and the technical department to create a final product. I also provided excellent mentorship and leadership to participants.

In this role I worked individually with students of all ages with a focus on high school students. I acted as a teacher for a variety of subjects including math, physics, biology, and chemistry. I was responsible for providing academic support to students as well as acting in a leadership role as a mentor.
