Supreme Sanitary Pads, Ltd. is a woman-run social enterprise based in Malawi focused on addressing period poverty, menstrual health, and women’s empowerment. The organization partners with BUSPH students in order to improve their operations.1) Contributed as a student health consultant within a project management team to improve TEAMGirl Malawi's reach to 5,000 girls across 40 rural Malawi districts2) Researched and proposed a new mHealth data collection system for the Leave No Girl Behind campaign3) Utilized supply chain management methods to improve the viability of Supreme's menstrual health social enterprise

The Bonderman Fellowship at the University of Michigan awards 4 graduates a stipend of $20,000 to pursue independent travel. Stipulations require that Fellows explore at least 8 countries in 2 regions of the world, document and publish their experiences via an online blog, and complete their travels solo and without returning home. I traveled 13 countries over 2+ years, focusing predominately on exploring health systems infrastructure in post-Soviet Europe and rural Latin America
