Hi all! A little about me.. I graduated college in 2011 with a bachelor degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), after which I worked in a variety of state and non-profit agencies. In 2019, I made the decision to re-enroll in school and now hold a Masters in Teaching from Pacific University. I taught middle school from 2019 - 2022.. I’ll just say I came, I tried, I loved, but I believed my expertise can be better utilized in other fields. I have now landed myself with OregonServes working as a Grants & Compliance Officer, melding my education background with my desire to forever serve underserved populations. I love to travel and watch, play, and coach athletics. My careers have been focused on helping others learn and improve. I enjoy analytics, teaching others, and am not one to shy away from difficult tasks. I pride myself in being a part of strong and supportive teams where collaboration is central. As a team leader, I act as an advocate and can provide calm when faced with adversity. My experiences have taught me that sometimes it’s just about asking the right questions.
