As an environmental studies major, I am very determined when it comes to protecting and rejuvenating the earth’s forests. Through my courses at Boise State, I have gathered ample knowledge on forest systems and the efforts taken to save them and their ecosystems. I am informed on the conservation efforts that go into saving forests, a major one being the efforts to end deforestation and the repercussions it brings to those in and around the forest. I am hoping to use this knowledge in future internships dealing with forests or conservation, where I can also cultivate my skills even further.
