Growing up as an Army brat, I moved frequently and spent much of my time indulging in creative pursuits. From donning my dad’s suit jacket to play a prosecutor in a major case, to convincing my mother of the next big invention I had made from construction paper and Elmer’s glue, my imagination was always at work.During high school, I discovered my passion for marketing through DECA and business classes. The mentorship from my teachers/advisors was pivotal in shaping my career path. I began pursuing a BBA in Marketing at Grand Valley State University until I was offered a full-time position managing a face-to-face marketing team, which led me to prioritize hands-on experience in my field. Inevitably, I temporarily paused my degree pursuit to gain practical experience and explore my passions further, which allowed me to refine my career direction and focus on areas of professional interest. I am now finishing my degree asynchronously online and I am eager to continue developing my skills in the process.I thrive on building connections with diverse individuals and relish the challenge of creating innovative strategies to engage with the community. Every day presents a new opportunity to be creative and problem-solve and you’ll come to find that nothing excites me more than the opportunity to fix or improve something.
