I pride myself on being an outgoing individual, who is creative, hardworking, respectful, and punctual. I love communicating with others and working with the public. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and with our vulnerable populations and I can envision myself working confidently in a field involving those. I consider myself to be resourceful and I work well amongst a team, I also consider myself to be very adaptable.For the past 3 years and ongoing, I have worked at Sobeys as a cashier and Front End Supervisor. I love this position as it allows me to communicate with people in our community and work amongst a team. I am comfortable handling large amounts of money and operating a POS system. My role as Front End Supervisor involves ensuring all cashiers get breaks, are providing good service, and that the front end is under control. I am also responsible for nightly pickups and deposits.My seasonal job at Camp Sheldrake has been phenomenal. I attended this camp as a child and it shaped me greatly as a person, and I wanted to be able to provide this opportunity to other children. I love working amongst my close-knit team to provide safety and care for children of different ages. As a counselor, I am responsible to assist in coordinating daily activities, assisting at mealtimes, first aid, and providing comfort and support.
