About Mackenzie St. John

Hello all, and welcome to my LinkedIn! I am a recent MSW graduate of Syracuse University's 2024 advanced clinical cohort. For the last nine years through Binghamton University (BSW '23) and now Syracuse University, I have worked closely on a number of projects affiliated with the Community Schools model. Most notably supporting the model through the lens of the student experience, I have also collaborated with Community Schools as a BSW Social Work Intern (2022-2023), MSW Research Assistant (2023-2024), student volunteer and summer program mentor (2015-2019). In November of 2021, I collaborated with Community Schools as an Education Panelist with the Let Us Dream Conference hosted by Binghamton University. More recently, I also spoke at the 2024 Binghamton University Forum Presentation on Community Schools! In addition to pursuing my passion of Community Schools, I have also broadened my experiences through internships in Substance Use Prevention (2022-2023), Outpatient Therapy (2023-2024), as well as part time work through OPWDD (2023-2024).
