Review employee profiles and forms and connect with employees/managers by phone and/or email to consult regarding their leave.Process leave without pay period in all systems (CAS and Phoenix) ensuring regular wages have been stopped and pensionable earnings remain for the leave period.Input employees CRA top-up allowances for their leave period based on Employment Insurance or Quebec Parental Insurance Plan.• Tech TeamDealt with I049/EJD errors and Error Correction Forms. The I049/EJD errors involve the system identifying inconsistent data between CAS and Phoenix requiring a review to find out the potentially erroneous data point on either of the two systems or their go-between PHXJBR. ECFs involve an agent who cannot process what they would like to do including transfers from another Government department, various data discrepancies and adjustments to the employee's file. Completing a reviews of accounts and detailed the necessary changes to Phoenix/PHXJBR/CAS. Other tasks at Tech involved: Early end of acting review, overpayment recovery, reviewing accounts and cheques flagged for invalid overpayments by PSPC and using the reconciliation tool for different tickets.• Revision TeamProcessed salary calculations and pay-related transactions including but not limited to payroll deductions, drafting/sending benefit and entitlement letters, tax form assessments and personal data changes. Reviewed and responded to enquiries relating to employee's severance pay and payment in lieu of severance. Part of the revision team and processed calculations and payments for both the PIPSC and PSAC revisions. Communicated with employees from both unions while reviewing calculations and after issuing retroactive payments for the new re-opener rates.
