I am currently a graduate assistant at the University of Florida pursuing a Master's of Science in Agricultural Education and Communication from the University of Florida. I am currently working on my Master’s thesis. I am researching agricultural communication competencies needed in high school agricultural communications courses. I have experience in research from my undergraduate program including a paper that was presented at the 2022 ACE (Association for Communication Excellence) conference. My classmates and instructors have described me as a motivated leader who is thorough, hard-working, and a good teammate. I have had a lot of experience in leadership positions and with public speaking. I also was a member of Florida 4-H for 13 years. I will be graduating in July 2023 and plan to pursue a career in Extension or higher education. I am excited to have a position where I can use my communication and leadership skills.
