Lead EY’s national Pensions Strategy & Covenant Advisory practice outside London. Specialise in providing strategic and financial advice in relation to defined benefit pensions schemes to corporates, trustees and other stakeholders (Regulators, Government and Investors). I was part of the London First's Future Leaders Forum, a group of 50 future leaders selected by their relevant companies from across the spectrum of the London business community (banking, transport, finance, construction, marketing). The group was initially used as a platform for innovative ideas to feed into Economic Development Plan for London, on behalf of the Mayor’s economic advisory body, the London Enterprise Panel. This involved debating London’s position in the future global market and what needs to be delivered to ensure its competitive future. The group's final output focused principally on ‘London 2036: An Agenda for Jobs & Growth’, the UK’s first business-led plan for London – which sets out priorities to drive jobs and growth in the capital between now and the year that the population is expected to reach 10 million. The group is now retained as a forum for policy feedback, networking and wider B2B business opportunities.

I was seconded as a Business Analyst to the Pensions Regulator (TPR) providing business and financial expertise to the multi-functional Defined Benefit Regulation team, which included lawyers, actuaries and case managers. I took a leadership role in business negotiations and advised on strategy in relation to: (i) investigations into scheme funding valuations; (ii) clearance applications; and (iii) the covenant implications of transactions and restructurings.TPR is part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and throughout my time at TPR I worked collaboratively with the Pension Protection Fund (PPF).
