I am an organized and enthusiastic elementary education major and psychology minor at Valparaiso University with a passion for developing students’ abilities and making learning both fun and effective. I gain great satisfaction in watching a student grasp knowledge and apply it to other classroom activities; helping a student grow and learn is, in my opinion, one of the most satisfying careers you can have. Currently I am a first grade teacher at Demotte Elementary School. My experiences include kindergarten, first grade, and some short experiences in a variety of other grade levels. I have worked with inclusion students with special needs and I particularly enjoy working with ELL students.
