Mackenzie's expertise has been relied upon by some of the largest property-owners, developers, asset managers, and builders in the industry to provide advice, guidance, strategy, certainty of execution, and proper risk-management, for some of the largest and most complex projects in Canada.Throughout his career, Mackenzie has mentored, trained, and led industry professionals in major markets across North America, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, New York, Miami, Charlotte, along with extensive experience in countless secondary and tertiary markets as well; but always with a primary focus on the Ontario market. Mackenzie has worked across all asset and loan types over the course of his career including: Multi-Family (self-liquidating and rentals, both CMHC and conventional, student housing, etc.), Hospitality, Retail, Office, Industrial, Land (zoned, un-zoned, brownfield, etc.), Gas Stations, Academic Facilities, Special-Use, etc. and has developed a reputation across the lending and borrowing community for his unparalleled expertise in construction financing.
