Responsible for the effective and timely delivery of professional services to ACT’s diverse client base. Overall accountability and responsibility for resource allocation, utilization and direct supervisory responsibilities for service delivery personnel. Worked collectively with other teams within Services and Sales to ensure the effective delivery of service related activities to a large customer base.

Reporting to the AVP Infrastructure and Operations,, I was responsible for leading a team of highly skilled Infrastructure Engineers whose primary focus was the design and installation of all Technology components, including; Storage, Network, Communications, VMWARE, Unified Computing, Microsoft Technologies and Data Center facilities management. My team is also responsible for software installation in all non-production and production environments.

Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of all applications, critical network components, and the daily operational stability of FCT’s mission critical IT applications and services. Operated a national Service Desk, based on ITSM (ITILV3) to handle customer and user issues. The Service Desk provided services to all of the major Canadian Banks and over 1000 internal staff.

Coordinated and led all aspects of IT operations for 2 casinos and 3 corporate locations. Spearheaded strategic plans to optimally align projects, operations, and technical support with business goals. Collaborated closely with department heads and stakeholders. Administered and tracked $15M OPEX-CAPEX budget. Created and enforced network and data security policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Identified, selected, and managed vendors. Negotiated service agreements. Managed POS system for both properties. Prepared and delivered weekly status updates and issue reports to senior management. Oversaw 50-member operations, technical support, and infrastructure design teams.

Directed all aspects of daily operations and support for +1,000 users in multi-site environment.
