I am a J.D. candidate at the University of Colorado Law School. I am very excited to be able to integrate my undergraduate degrees with law. My undergraduate degrees are from Colorado State University in ecosystem science and sustainability as well as watershed science. My experiences exploring the natural world have motivated me to learn how organisms interact with each other and their environment including the relationship between humans and other systems. This has developed into a passion about environmental/water law.While at Colorado State University, I was able to contribute to a research project that examines past climatological information from past writings in the Ebro Watershed in Spain. This project has allowed me to expand my Spanish language skills, data analysis skills, and knowledge about research. My time at Colorado State University as well as my experiences with the research project has increased my awareness of the relationships between humans and their environments. This has further my motivation to impact policy. I am excited to apply what I have learned at Colorado State University to future environmental law work.
