As the Software Architect of a peer-to-peer payment mobile application, I was responsible for designing and implementing the server-side of the application using Elixir and Postgres. I also designed the entire application architecture front to back, ensuring that all components were properly integrated and working together seamlessly.One of the key challenges of the project was integrating the app with a third-party banking system to enable secure financial transactions. I worked closely with the bank's business and technical teams to ensure that the integration was successful and that all transactions were processed smoothly and securely.In addition to my work on the backend and architecture of the app, I also handled all of the devops work for our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. This included setting up and configuring servers, deploying code, and monitoring the app's performance in production.As a mentor to other engineers on the team, I provided guidance and support as they worked on various aspects of the project.
