As the Senior Wildlife Biologist I provide specialized professional resource management duties and supervise the activities of the Boulder County Parks & Open Space Wildlife Group (including specialists, technicians and seasonals). I am responsible for coordination and management of the Parks & Open Space wildlife program of work. My duties include direction or supervision of the planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of a large variety of wildlife inventories and studies, and land-use decisions impacting habitats and species across mountain and plains ecosystems. I provide science-based resource management decisions for over 100,000 acres of county-owned lands and conservation easements.
