I’m Mac McCann, a social media expert and a freelance writer. Currently, I'm the social media strategist for Pluckers Wing Bar. At UT, I was selected as a Headliners Foundation Scholar and a Jefferson Junior Fellow. I’m a member of Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honors society for religious studies, and a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honors society for history. At the 2015 Central Texas Colloquium on Religion, I presented my academic paper “MCs & Marx: Examining Rap from a Historical Materialist Perspective,” which I expanded into my 17,000+ word Plan II Honors and Religious Studies Honors senior thesis.
