•Planned, executed, and managed the full life cycle implementation of SAP SD, MM, and PM solutions in 6 months for the Service Division of a natural gas compression manufacturer. The Manufacturing Division go-live followed 3 months later with additional PM functionality. •Implementation included advanced functionality for material classifications, TREX search helps, and automated material master creation. .

•Saved $1M in transition service fees by completing the project one month ahead of schedule. •Established a multinational business unit (operating in 11 countries) to manage SAP customer, vendor, material, and pricing data in seven months. The unit consisted of regional service centers in the US, India, and Romania with 32 employees. •Simplified the application landscape by incorporating an ISO 9001 compliant document repository and a business process management system (BPM workflow) into Nexeo’s existing SharePoint system.

Volunteered time to the Well Identification Project. The project's objective was to revise the D12A well numbering standard in a way that allows the consistent assignment of a unique well identifier to every well bore in the USA. The old standard did not address modern well configurations such as horizontal and multiple-leg drilling.

•Implemented SAP FICO, MM, and PM for the Headquarters and one petroleum refinery in nine months. SAP was rolled-out to a second and third refinery in months 10 and 11.•Established master data governance processes and managed the extract/transform/load (ETL) process for the initial master data loads.

•Developed a SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) bolt-on application to manage Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.

•Designed the strategy to consolidate reporting for eight operational information systems into an open source data warehouse (PPDM). •Designed an enterprise master data management system to support the company’s move to service oriented architecture (SOA).

•Increased bond audit processing capacity 10-fold by combining four models into a single standardized model. •Programed the audit application in Excel and SQL Server. The application included custom workflow menus and context sensitive help.

•Implemented SAP’s Master Data Management (MDM) module in nine months. •Utilized the SAP Enterprise Portal as the business process management (BPM workflow) tool for master data requests. •Reduced training and associated travel costs through the development and implementation of a web-based training module for five regional offices.

•Responsible for three business units that managed master data, commercial contracts, and business reporting functions while supporting the billing and accounts payable processes. •Eliminated systematic billing and payables issues in the wholesale distribution channel ($10-$100 million transactions) by assuming control of the Commercial Contract Administration Unit and implementing; SAP enhancements, a new deal capture system, and general management controls. •Established a central venue for custom reports by forming a business unit to develop a catalog of management reports based on general business requirements and training users how to modify and save these reports to their personal catalog. •Implemented continuous process improvements through the internal production support process. •Served as Shared Services SAP subject matter expert for a $40M Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system project.

•Reduced retail distribution channel billing errors to half the industry average within 18 months by a forming a master data management business unit to improve data quality from internal and external providers. •Launched a companywide education program on master data governance and SAP sales processes.•Reduced annual data management costs $250K per year by collaborating with external information vendors and configuring SAP to automatically load external data.•Realized $10M per year savings on crude oil purchases by forming a business unit to effectively manage Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA) master data which reduced transactions errors to the limits set forth in a service level agreement (SLA).

•Implemented SAP SD for Tesoro Alaska with a lower billing error rate than the legacy system and made accurate management reports available at go-live. •Managed multi-departmental efforts at Tesoro and the seller that were needed to identify and create the master data to support a $677M acquisition from BP/Amoco and $2B acquisition from Shell.•Worked with corporate analyst and regional marketing personnel to develop and implement a sales report structure that allowed both regional and functional level reporting.•Liaison between regional business managers and the SAP implementation team for the Transfer Pricing project.
