Bangladesh Copyright & IP Forum is a not for profit organization that promotes issues relating to Intellectual Property Right and associated activities and legal support. I have been advising the organization on culture, specifically the music industry. Have attended several symposia, seminars, workshops, press briefs and TV talk shows.

Reporting to the CEO I oversee the total operations of Dhaka FM 90.4. We have a staff strength of 39 plus people and my job is to ensure cohesive coordination between Program, Sales & Marketing, Accounts, Creative Department as well as receive inputs from Technical. We are an urban radio station with our footprint in our primary beam covering 80kms ex-Dhaka and 100kms in our secondary beam. By December 2015 we are going to cover nationwide with relay stations in Chittagong, Coxs Bazar, Khulna, Sylhet, Bogra, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Barisal and Dinajpur.Dhaka FM 90.4 began its journey in 2012 and is the only Fully HD Radio Station in Southeast Asia

General Manager looking after operations in Dhaka and Chittagong for GSA of RAK Airways PJSC, UAEJoined Mohammed Aviation Agency in October 2007 as General Manager to head Bangladesh operation of RAK Airways PJSC the national flag carrier of Ras Al Khaimah, one among seven Emirates of the UAE.Oversaw approvals from Civil Aviation Authorities of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Bank and other associated bodies and landing permission for RAK Airways.In December 2007, RAK Airways commenced its operation into Bangladesh with three Boeing 737 operations to Dhaka each week.By February 2008, RAK Airways impressed with passenger and revenue growth started thrice weekly operations to Chittagong.Overseeing 46 staff from Ticketing and Reservation, Accounts and Airport staffs reporting directly to me on all 6 days of operation.In December 2010 RAK Airways changed its entire fleet from Boeing 737 to Airbus 310 aircrafts.Implemented cutover of Accelaero Ticketing and Inventory Management system. 2010Implemented cutover of Aeropack Ticketing and Inventory Management system. 2007Implemented cutover of DCS (Departure Control Systems) in Dhaka and Chittagong Airport.Hands on skills to oversee Airport Operation functions.Adept at Revenue Management, Yield enhancement and forward forecasting and reporting.Worked closely with IATA – Bangladesh in implementing cutover to BSP allowing over a hundred Travel Agency to book and ticket RAK Airways through Galileo Sabre, Amadeus and World Span and other Global Distribution Systems.Designed, structured and implemented an in-house accounts and financial management database.Created an average monthly USD $10 million plus passenger revenue sales base for RAK Airways PJSC in Bangladesh.

Responsible for Actionable Intelligence inputs in AsiaAsia Risk Analyst providing back office support as a Contractor (outsourcing business) to Exclusive Analysis Limited, a premier Risk Analysis and Forecasting and Specialist Intelligence Company based in 68 Lombard Street, London EC3V 9LJ, UK.Nominated Current Intelligence Analyst for Asia by Exclusive Analysis, London in 2010.Consultant for Asia with daily coverage from Afghanistan to Vietnam.Categorizing and reviewing risk relevant actionable open source non-intrusive Intelligence available on the Internet.Detailing violent Civil unrest, War, Political and Terrorism risk within 72 or more parameters of search and review.Creating a daily report on actionable intelligence and uploading it into a Security database. Organizing, motivating and leading the sales team for the first ever private Radio station in Bangladesh broadcasting on AM frequencies.Designing programs and scheduling.Editing the station brochure.Interacting and liaising with Betar the state run radio station.Overseeing an operational and news team of over 45 individuals.Hosting a daily talk show which was later jointly syndicated with Channel I a popular private TV station.Hosting a thrice weekly show on Jazz-Rock-Fusion Music.Organizing media events and concerts.Nominated Observer during the General Elections in Bangladesh – 2001.

Initially the front man and lead vocalist for band Feedback, performing thrice weekly at the Chambeeli Restaurant, Hotel Intercontinental (now the Dhaka Sheraton). Covered English songs in all known global genre for a mainly expatriate audience.Since 1987 turned to Bengali jazz rock fusion music with several albums recorded and listed in publications.

Joined the GSA of Cathay Pacific Airways in Bangladesh as a Sales Officer in 1983. Was subsequently promoted to Assistant.Manager in 1985 and Manager in 1991. Was promoted to Director Sales and Marketing in winter of 1992 and resigned from the company in April 1996.• Headed the organization.• Set up the General Sales Agency office for the Hong Kong based Cathay Pacific Airways Limited reporting to its regional head office in Mumbai.• Trained and effectively manned a sales and ticketing/reservation team of 7 individuals.• Proactive sales approach led to creating confidence among travel agencies, interline carriers and the over all travel trade.• Created annual Marketing Action Plans (MAP) and market research and evaluation.• Created a monthly US$ .05 million plus passenger revenue sales base in Bangladesh.• Implemented cutover of CUPID (Cathay Unisys Passenger Information and Distribution) computerized online ticketing and reservation system.• Implemented the first ever Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) on behalf of Cathay Pacific with Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG).• Proficient in lATA fare and passenger yield calculations.• Several training's on Passenger handling, Sales, Marketing and Human Management in Mumbai, Hong Kong, Bahrain and Dubai.• Wide experience in handling VIP passengers, large groups and inclusive tours.• Interaction with corporate bodies, Embassies in Bangladesh and the Armed Forces.• Interacted with the Civil Aviation Authorities of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Bangladesh Bank on behalf of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited.
