As the Research Communications Coordinator at the University of Connecticut, I craft engaging and informative stories about the cutting-edge research conducted by UConn faculty and students across various disciplines. I collaborate with researchers, editors, and designers to produce high-quality content for the web, social media, and print platforms, reaching a diverse and global audience. I earned my stripes in web publishing, AP style, and team and project management as Editor-in-Chief of The Daily UW, 2020-21. Working at eNotes.com as an editorial intern for almost three years taught me the ins and outs of Chicago style, fact-checking, and educational writing for a high school audience. With my BA in Creative Writing and my scicomm experience at UConn Research, I can write you a paper on poetry or a press release on particle physics (though I may need to ask more questions for the latter).
