Chris joined Merrill in 1995 as a Financial Advisor, after graduating from Ithaca College, New York with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is a founding member of the MacNamara, Tran, Mason, Harting, Burnette & Krashin group, which focuses on managing investment portfolios using low cost, tax-efficient Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) indexes. Chris has spent his career focusing on the development and management of tax-efficient strategies, designed to grow and preserve wealth, while helping clients reach their short and long-term goals. He has earned his Wealth Management Advisor title with Merrill. Chris frequently leads seminars on professional money management and financial strategies and has been invited to speak at several Fortune 500 companies in Metropolitan Washington. Chris is a Merrill coach and trainer to Financial Advisors nationwide on Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) portfolio management strategies and ethical business practices. Chris earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation from the Investment and Wealth Institute™ after completing its educational requirements at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. In 2010, he was selected as one of 35 Merrill Financial Advisors nationwide to attend Harvard Business School (HBS) in an executive study program.
