My role at Majestec was highly varied and every day offered new challenges and learning opportunities. I was fortunate enough to gain a lot of experience in managing a team and running businesses in the IT and Managed Print sectors.Being heavily involved in the Managed Print side of the business gave me great insights into how print contracts work and the capabilities of modern print solutions. My true passion was being involved in the IT side of the business. I recognised the need to embrace the Microsoft vision of the modern workplace and began taking steps to evolve the companies offering and invest in training the team.

I worked closely with Education, Retail and Commercial businesses assisting with infrastructure requirements. My areas of focus included Data Cabling, Managed Switches, Managed Wireless, Audio/Visual and CCTV solutions. I took a technical approach as a Data Consultant by gaining a full understanding of a customers requirements and proposed/delivered solutions accordingly.

Worked with the IT Support team for 18 months assisting with telephone and remote IT support in all capacities.I also worked as a Technical Field Engineer which involved attending site and resolving IT issues throughout our client base. This early hands on technical work sparked my passion for technology that has continued throughout my life.
