I worked with practice area leads to implement custom content strategies that served their communities and generated conversion events for the company. During this time, year-over-year traffic to O’Reilly’s online content increased 35% and we hit a 5% annual click-through rate from articles to the O’Reilly online learning platform (the industry average CTR for this kind of content was 3%).* In 2018-2020, O'Reilly fully evolved into a subscription business. To support this move into SaaS, the online content strategy shifted toward thought leadership and brand building. I worked with a small team to publish original research, analysis, and opinion through a redesigned website (oreilly.com/radar). In less than six months, we created entirely new workflows and content pipelines from the ground up. I also collaborated with O'Reilly's PR agencies to distribute the company's insights to new audiences. -
