Founded in 1974, Humanitas seeks to honor film and television writers whose work meaningfully explores the scope of the human condition. I have served nine consecutive seasons as a judge for the Humanitas Prize, evaluating nationally telecast and widely released work in categories including 30-minute prime time television, Sundance feature films, and feature-length screenplays, as well as serving the panel awarding student writing fellowships.www.humanitasprize.org
