Worked together with communications team to progress marketing strategy. Wrote short and longform articles for monthly and quarterly publications. Garnered and maintained relationships with alumni to support development team. Also taught a section of 7th grade English during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Created the annual "State of Community Management" report and assisted in writing and editing several ebooks.

San Francisco Bay Area

Guided 7th and 8th grade students through the mire of early reading comprehension and writing styles. Classes were differentiated by topic (Words for Change, The Wild, Into the Future), and students learned traditional subject matter through role playing games, online collaborations, and outdoor excursions. Also led the English Department by evaluating and recommending new hires as well as developing four-year English curriculum track. And finally led a scheduling committee to ensure healthy day-to-day student life, which included creating different schedules for each year.

San Francisco Bay Area

Designed and facilitated outdoor education trips for fifth through eighth graders. This role also allowed me to run an outdoor education club, where students learn how to carefully plan and execute outdoor adventures.

Part of the development team for a an experiential betterment game. Created content for the game play.

Taught courses centered on diagramming, writing, and literary discussion and aimed to prepare students for high school enrollment and success. Tutored students of different ages in grammar, reading, and writing. In my second year, I also taught all subjects and led all activities for fourth grade class.

Orange County, California Area

Taught five sections of English to 6th grade students with a focus on creative writing and the structure of writing, and tutored students to help them master writing, grammar, and mechanics.

San Antonio, Texas Area

Taught 6th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grade English and Journalism, and created the middle school lacrosse program. Supervised the growth and health of weekly student life, organizing trips and fostering individual growth for fifty residential life students. Guided seniors through college applications and crafted official letters of recommendation.
