I am living middleware, now working to enable technological solutions that can do what I do. I bring people, places, and things together, translating niche vocabularies, enabling interactions, and creating connections that otherwise might never have been. I can sell ice to Arctic natives -- if I believe it's good ice, better than what they have on hand, and likely to improve their overall experience of the world. Though I keep a strong focus on end goals, I am always looking for a better path from here to there, and will open windows and doors to new experiences and possibilities that bring those goals closer and make their achievement cheaper and faster. I've worked with doctors of medicine and divinity; engineers of mechanics, chemistry, biology, and civil structures; architects of software and edifice; illustrators, photographers, sculptors, painters, fabricators, graphic designers, publishers, and beyond -- and every one has called me back for more.Specialties: Computer hardware and software, especially Macintosh, but including *nix and all variants of Windows to date; Internet technologies; Telephony hardware and software; Network design and implementation; Technical writing; Document production from raw design to n-color press; Much more.
