• I worked in the Prescience Lab which is headed by Professor Peter Dinda of Northwestern University's Computer Science Department. The Prescience Lab focuses on experimental computer systems research. I worked on.
• Designed and developed a variation of fibers (lightweight threads) for the Nautilus Aerokernel
• Modified the kernel to support fibers when they are enabled in the kernel configuration
• Added AVX512f and Intel XSAVE/XRSTOR support to the kernel by updating the kernel's floating-point unit initialization process
• Created a fiber interface that allows users to easily create, run, and test fibers

• Recruited incoming freshman students for the program
• Organized weekly program activities
• Counseled, mentored, and tutored the students

• Supervised staff of 11 lifeguards to ensure facility safety
• Facilitated monthly educational in-service training and taught skills to new lifeguards
• Conducted regular testing to verify safe water quality and chemical levels
• Collaborated with other staff to demonstrate capability of handling emergency situations to auditors
• Practiced lifeguarding protocols that were put in place to guarantee guards stayed vigilant and guests remained safe
