I was born and raised on a generational family farm. I work collaboratively with my siblings and parents to raise quality beef and swine for human consumption. I assume the daily responsibility of caring for the livestock, maintaining a clean facility and making management decisions that include balancing a feed ration, making breeding decisions and marketing choices. My family farms 250 acres of corn and beans and raises cattle for a cow/calf operation. Farming is a family affair at my house as we all work together every day to ensure that our livestock is well taken care of, so that the consumer can expect the highest quality of product when consuming meat raised on our farm.
