For the past year I have been working in Baldock Tesco, picking for tesco.com, for customers online shop orders. This job title has skills and responsibilities such as keeping at a fast pace to get all the shopping done as fast as possible, and staying on target for your daily pick rate. As well as having to be dedicated to work 6am-2pm every shift, as orders go out that day, and cannot be delayed as each customers has a designated time slot. Over the Christmas period I also commit to starting at 4am as this is a busier period, and on regular Saturdays starting at 5am. I have been working on the dot com department for over a year now, and will remain their until finding a new placement.

Before I was an online picker for Tescos, I worked on the checkouts department. This job includes responsibilities and skills such as customer service, being punctual, as well as knowledgeable about the store layout, having patience, and remaining positive and welcoming for all customers. I usually worked on checkouts 5 days a week, and come in contact with many problems, that I single handedly solved. This shows I can work independently, as well as part of a team. I worked on the checkouts department for 4 months, before switching over to the dot com department.
