I learned the company's inventory software in order to manage it. I frequently entered new parts into the system and updated information on old ones. I also reviewed employee's requests for new parts and then approved or denied them. Approval was based on whether there was already a part that could serve the intended purpose of the request; this saved valuable inventory space in the warehouse and simplified the software. Another responsibility I had was to update vendor prices for our parts. This involved updating our software as well as excel sheets, and sometimes involved calling vendors for the information.Finally, I helped reorganize a large section of the warehouse. The supplier had been using their own inventory system, but this was changed to have their parts be stored as part of our system.

My primary role was to take information from part updates we received and consolidate it into one document for my mentor to use. This involved create Excel sheets and PowerPoints with all the relevant data for each part. I also measured the dimensions of warehouse storage racks in detail, then recreated them in CAD software for my mentor.

I was hired to grade employees on their record-keeping for tech consulting jobs. First, I graded an employee based on how accurately they logged their hours. Second, I made sure that they recorded the name of the person who approved the budget hours; employees also needed to note the name of the person who agreed that the job was complete. I also helped to create a more streamlined process for doing the evaluations so that a future evaluator can learn and execute the job more easily.

My primary role was to deliver pizzas and other food items. I also had to answer phone calls and help keep the kitchen clean and running smoothly.
